A Tribe Called Quest - Lyrics to Go
To quote Busta Rhymez from the Tribe Documentary ‘Beats Rhymes & Life’, “I cry every time I listen to Lyrics to Go.” I think Busta was being over-dramatic when conveying the greatness of this song. I can honestly say the first time I heard this song after purchasing the cassette back in ‘93, there was a “misty eyed” reaction to how cohesive the rhyme, flow, and horn heavy beat helped me nominate this as my 2nd favorite track from the Midnight album.
